Julie Clergerie has had the privilege of playing iconic roles such as Velma Kelly and Heather Chandler at the Centre de Danse du Marais in Paris. Her extensive experience in musical theatre, spanning over 13 years, has equipped her with a strong foundation in the performing arts.

 

Julie's training credentials include studying classical drama at Cour Cochet Delavène, where she delved into the works of renowned French playwrights like Moliere, Racine, Feydau, Marivaux, and Musset. Additionally, she honed her skills in various dance styles at Studio Harmonic and perfected her vocal technique with David Linx.

She further refined her craft at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City, where she studied technique in multiple disciplines.

 

Recently, Julie created and performed her own cabaret show at a night club in Paris, where she showcased her versatility as a singer, dancer, choreographer, and costume designer. This innovative production featured a unique blend of French and English repertoire, demonstrating her language skills and artistic range.Growing up, Julie has always been passionate about musical theatre. Her dream is to become a leading lady on stage and transition into directing .

 

With her recent move to New York City, she is eager to pursue her career and bring her unique energy to the American stage. When she is not on-stage ,Julie likes outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking and alpinism.
